The Strength of Some People

This week was a wnderful reminder for me that life is very precious and we all have gifts to offer this world. I was asked to speak at a support group for head-injury and trauma patients. It was very humbling and inspirational for myself. They asked me to speak about my life and story and how I have overcome my struggles. I think I got just as much out of it as them. I love that life reminds me when I need it that all this is worth the fight. I love to publicly speak, and my heart is truly alive when I do. My creativity is starting to spike again and I am working on a new book. It will not be a children's book, but will make a rather large impact as well I think. I am simultaneously working on another children's book. You will just have to stay tuned to find out. I am finally starting to feel some of my health return again, once again, life has reminded me that I do know what is best for my body and I need to listen when it speaks. I am diving into the alternative medicine again, this time I will stick with it. I have really had a tough year health wise and I once again realize that what I was doing was working. The hard part about illness is that it is ever-changing, and emotionally always active. I am starting to channel that frustration and pain into my writing. I am getting back into the swing of life and have some exciting ideas and plans coming up in the near future. Now that my energy is coming back, I can use it to get Scardust where it belongs. I have been coaching potential authors about writing and it has become a hobby of mine. I enjoy helping people in whatever capacity I can, even the smallest amount of help can mean the biggest thing to them. Life has been good to me, and I find it truly a priveledge to share that. I realize that what I have to offer is priceless, it is something money cannot buy anyone. Don't get me wrong, I am like anyone else that could use money, but I at least have things that fulfill that need emotionally. Meeting all of the people I did at that support group really touched my heart and reminded me how many of us there are out there fighting, every single day, fighting to either stay alive physically or mentally. Well, it is time to get to writing, the energy is flowing, best to use it while I have it. Take Care and sleep well tonight, may your soul and body be healed while you rest. Jennifer
